Clear Words. Good Judgment.

Turned emergencies, data, community programs, and complex issues into communication people could understand and act on.

OutcomePeople were more likely to respond positively to RPD or its communication instead of simply reacting to the incident. Across six full years and 110,714 analyzed Facebook comments, non-news posts drew 37.9% positive response vs. 25.6% for news releases. The positive-response gap nearly doubled, from 7.5 percentage points in 2016–2018 to 14.1 points in 2019–2021, while negative response remained essentially flat at under 2%.
